April is Month of the Military Child. As military service members go TDY, deploy, PCS or work those long hours in the middle of the night, we must always remember that their families are feeling some of the pressure we feel as military members too! It takes a lot to be a military child. Listen to our tribute to the military child here and check out the perspective of Ian, a military child pro who talks about his experience over the years.

To wrap up Women's History Month, we invited Col. Lipscomb, the 189th Airlift Wing Vice Commander and Chief Monk, the 189th Airlift Wing Command Chief, to talk about what they think women's history has meant for history and change and to hear their individual and unique stories. We wrap up our special miniseries focusing on Black History Month by having a special chat with Chief Regina Monk and Col. Patric Coggin. Chief Monk is the first Black and first female command chief for the 189th Airlift Wing. She's made history for herself and set a standard for young Airmen to aspire to.
