After Bobby’s slightly late arrival… he and Mackenzie discuss Forge FC’s transition from a 2-2 against Halifax to what promises to be a competitive home game against Valour FC. He shares his thoughts on Alex’s controversial yellow card, Nana’s debut, and Beni’s backflip celebration. Mackenzie also picks his brain on super powers after the Marvel match theme…Key Takeaways: Coach Bobby noted that Forge had numerous scoring opportunities in the first half and you have to stay humble when you are leading.Garven is an excellent ball carrier and was the more suitable choice as a center back given Halifax's style of play. The ball was getting stuck in the grass due to the rain, making it difficult to pass and receive.Coach Bobby disagreed with Alex receiving a yellow card, he also emphasized that if you must take a card, ensure it is necessary. The top priority for Nana is achieving match fitness — Coach Bobby is focused on doing everything correctly to prevent injury.Chapters:0:00 Catching up w/ Bobby 4:00 Halifax Match Recap6:15 Second Half Strategy9:30 Benni’s Backflip10:00 Team Competition and Lineup Decisions11:50 Weather Impact13:10 Alex’s Yellow Card Controversy14:50 Nana Ampomah’s Debut17:07 Signing Cisse w/ Nana18:14 Valour Matchup (Strategy and Expectations)20:00 Marvel Super Hero Night Theme QuestionsForge Audio NetworkThe Forge Audio Network provides Forge FC fans with the most comprehensive, entertaining and informative news and information about their favourite soccer team. Week 10 of the CPL has come to a close! Today, Mackenzie and Milty discuss the 2-2 draw between the Halifax Wanderers and Forge FC. They get into Forge FC’s late come back, controversial calls, and Halifax’s ability to stay in it despite their lack of possession. They talk about Benni Badibanga’s performance + his entertaining goal celebration.KeyTakeaways:Forge had quite a few chances against Halifax in the first half and had opportunities to finish sooner. Both teams showed resiliency, by the 70th minute it appeared as though both teams were in first half form. Alexander Achinioti-Jönsson played under the 'cloud of a yellow' after a controversial call early on. Milty believes that Video Assisted Refereeing has to come in the CPL.The goal scored by Benni Badibanga was executed similar to set pieces Forge have practiced.Nana Ampomah is a dangerous addition to the Forge FC having made an impact immediately after his substitution.Chapters1:10 Worthy of a draw?2:30 Disappointment for Halifax?5:00 Weather impact?7:00 Nana Debut9:00 Standout points11:30 Playing “under the cloud of a yellow”16:45 Halftime message + stats19:00 Benni Badi’backflip’22:00 Second half & Recovering from a PK26:00 Valour FC29:00 Milty Backflipping Forge Audio NetworkThe Forge Audio Network provides Forge FC fans with the most comprehensive, entertaining and informative news and information about their favourite soccer team.
